From November 4-5, 2022, the Αnnual conference of the Panhellenic Federation of Associations of People with Diabetes Mellitus (POSSASDIA) was held at the Stratos Vassilikos hotel in Athens. The conference was attended by many people with diabetes as well as parents with children who have developed diabetes. These people had the opportunity to attend excellent lectures on the proper management of Diabetes Mellitus and the prevention of complications, from renowned diabetologists but also from nutritionists, nurses and psychologists. They also had the opportunity to learn about all the developments that exist in medical devices related to diabetes. Parapharm company participated with an exhibition booth, which was visited by almost all delegates to learn about the correct use of the BD insulin needle, of which it is the exclusive representative in Greece. They were also reminded of the need to change the needle at each injection in order to optimize insulin delivery and minimize the risk of lipodystrophy.
